Turoa Skifield pics from 22-24 August 2011

Ruapehu is holding some awesome snow at the moment and our bluebird trip begain with the soft blue light of a morning shade.

The pause while we had a nice cooked breaky was soon followed by some lovely snow and still fine weather
This is just below the Jumbo Tbar. Lovely packed powder on massive trails. These two pics give you sense of it. Lovely.

Looking up the 6

Top to bottom runs all over the place out west and east.

Lovely snow conditions winter pack. This is out towards the Organ pipes that released on the east faces late in the day

Tough old view to Taranaki

Sore legs but big grin

Sad to leave :-{
