You know – while there’s always new things to talk about, it seems the one thing that never changes round here is the warm, local hospitality, and a great time skiing for the whole family.

As far as the great skiing goes – it’s better than ever. Led by our two most famous runs – Bluff Face and Big Mama – we have a wide range of slopes to suit every ability. (Did you know Big Mama is the longest, steepest single slope in the Southern Hemisphere?)

And of course, we’re still just as close ever. Just 89km from Christchurch, in fact. At that distance, it’s a wonder we haven’t lost any of our local charm!

Highly recommended by Powderhound if there is 1.5m base or better!

If there is enough snow expect some real big mountain terrain at Porters.
