The Wells Pipe Platter!
On Tuesday 5th August the entire Wells Family turned up at Cardrona to officially OPEN the dedicated Pipe Platter that has aptly been named after them.

Bruce and Stacy first met at Cardrona 26 years ago and then went on to have the 4 talented boys.
The new Wells Pipe Platter has made lots of athletes VERY happy as they prepare for the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014. Faster laps, less hiking = more training.
Cardrona gets a dump!
Cardrona Marketing Manager Nadia Ellis said mountain staff were excited about welcoming customers to the first day of the 2011 Cardrona season tomorrow.
“We had 10cm of snow overnight and consistent snowfalls today has resulted in at least a further 8cm over the mountain. And there’s more forecast,” she said.

Wanaka
New Zealand is a picturesque holiday resort in
the South Island of New Zealand. Its central Otago
location make it an ideal place to base yourself
as a less commercial alternative to Queenstown
(although this is rapidly changing).
If you want to ski or snowboard
Wanaka you can enjoy some of New Zealand's best
ski fields within a short driving distance. Including
the world first Snow Park and snow area dedicated
to the new school. Cardrona offers great snow
and Treble Cone well there is some serious terrain
up there.
